To open the performance, I play the music video of the Gourmandises song by pop singer Alizée. I am sat on a carpet lent by Sissi’s owner. I create a magical circle around me with lavender flowers. Its scent fills the room. I read some excerpts from my book Fantaisie Finale. Then, I read some abusive sentences I’ve heard from random art workers, or stories about rejection or objectification I heard from other artists. Finally, I sing the song Frozen by Madonna.
